To provide a switch device which provides a clear click feeling despite being compact.
The switch device according to the present invention comprises: a moving member 2 provided with a protrusion 2c; and a leaf spring 5 having an engagement portion 5a engageable with the protrusion 2c. When the protrusion 2c climbs over the top of the engagement portion 5a, the leaf spring 5 can move in a direction opposite to a movement direction of the moving member 2. When the leaf spring 5 moves in the direction opposite to the movement direction of the moving member 2, slide operating force is rapidly reduced because the amount of elastic deformation of the leaf spring 5 is greatly reduced to rapidly reduce spring force. Thus, a clear click feeling can be obtained.
