Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [X is H, F; Z is formula II (R1 is 1-6C alkyl), formula III (R2, R3, R4 are 1-4C alkyl, N(CH3)2].
EXAMPLE: 2-[2-Chloro-4-fluoro-5-(4,5,6,7,2H-tetrahydroisoindole-1,3-dione-2-yl) phenyl-4-t-butyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole-5-one.
USE: Selective herbicide. It is particularly useful as a herbicide for rice plant paddies and crop fields. It is also used in orchards and waste lands.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound of formula IV is allowed to react according to the reaction equations to give a compound of formula V. The combination with the compound of formula I manifests high herbicidal effect with a reduced dose.
