PURPOSE: To ensure the accurate and smooth actuation of a rising tape guide with a miniature mechanism by providing a guide for rising of a rising guide at the place near a loading ring.
CONSTITUTION: The height of the upper end face of a guide plate 22 keeping in contact with a loading ring 7 is gradually increased as the ring 7 is revolved. Therefore a guide member 30 is turned counterclockwise, and a rising guide 21 unified with the member 30 is also turned counterclockwise for rising. The height of the member 30 is controlled by a V-shaped stopper part 36 to hold the posture of th guide 21, i.e., the sloping angle of the guide 21. The loading action is just reversed in an unloading mode. The guide 21 falls gradually by the restoring force of a spring 29 and is reset to the falling position set at the starting time point of the loading action. In such a miniature mechanism, the accurate and smooth actuation of a rising tape guide is ensured.
