Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a visible light emitting diode by sealing it with special resin. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resin which is formed of polymer having 1.59 or larger refractive index with monomer as one component having unsaturated group of ethylene property in two aromatic nuclei in one molecule is used. The unsaturated group of ethylene property means double bond capable of being radically polymerized, preferably vinyl group, substituted vinyl group, aryl group, and particularly preferable at least one monomer selected from divinyl compound, dimethacrylate compound, diacrylate compound and diaryl compound. A light of approx. 60% or higher can be effectively condensed at the front by selecting the refractive index higher than 1.59.
