Abstract:

To make it possible to change the inclination direction of an endless belt inversely in an arbitral manner to thereby ensure an easy physical therapy of patient by providing a treadmill device for facilitating the physical therapy of patient with an additional adjustment means engaging with a rearward rolling roller region.

This treadmill 1 has an endless belt 2 layed between a forward rolling roller 3 and a rearward rolling roller 4 to surround them rotating in the arrow direction and a frame 7 to which a handled member 6 is fixed. The frame has height adjusting supports 5, 5' in regions of the rollers 3, 4. Each of the supports 5, 5' includes a rod means capable of moving forward and backward vertically by a spindle or the like. With the relative forward and rearward movement of the supports 5, 5', the inclination direction of the endless belt 2 can be changed arbitrally to a forward and upward direction or a foward and downward direction.
