PURPOSE: To obtain the title treating composition useful for bleaching after color development of sensitized material of silver halide color photography, capable of carrying out treatment having excellent desilvering properties with a little bleach fogging and stain with time, containing a specific metal complex compound.

CONSTITUTION: A sensitized material of silver halide color photography exposed in an image is bleached with a treating solution containing a compound shown by formula I [Mx is cation or anion; k is 0 or 1-5 integer; Me is Fe(III), Mn(II), Cc(III), Rh(II), Rh(III), An(III), An(II) or Ce(IV); p is 1-4 integer; L is group shown by formula II (L1 to L3 are alkylene; M, M1 and M2 are H or cation; Z1 is nonmetallic atom group required for completing aromatic nucleus) or group shown by formula III (La to Ld are alkyl; W is organic bifunctional bond group; X is carboxy, hydroxy, sulfo, etc.; M4 to M6 are as shown for M; Z2 is as shown for Z1); m is 1-4; n is 0 or 1-5].
