Title:
VANADIUM-PHOSPHORUS-BASED OXIDE, ITS PRODUCTION, CATALYST FOR VAPOR-PHASE OXIDATION COMPRISING THE SAME AND PARTIAL VAPOR-PHASE OXIDATION FOR HYDROCARBONS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3502526
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst high in activity and selectivity in a partial vapor- phase oxidation of a hydrocarbon in excellent reproducibility, by preparing a vanadium-phosphorus-based oxide having a specific X-ray diffraction pattern.
SOLUTION: This vanadium-phosphorus-based oxide having a specific X-ray diffraction pattern has main peaks of angle of diffraction 2θ(±0.2°) of 18.5°, 23.0°, 28.4°, 29.9° and 43.1° in an X-ray diffraction spectrum (anticathode Cu-Kα) and the intensity ratio of the peaks at 2θ(±0.2°)=23.0° and 28.4° in the following range. Namely, 0.3≤I(23.0)/I(28.4)≤0.7; with the proviso that I(23.0) and I(28.4) show peak intensity at 2θ (±0.2°)=23.0° and 28.4°, respectively. The vanadium- phosphorus-based oxide is produced by reducing a pentavalent vanadium compound as a starting substance in an organic solvent, then reacting the reduced substance with a phosphorus compound at 60-150°C, baking and activating.
