Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a voltage controlled oscillator circuit by which high frequency oscillation is attained with low current consumption and the phase synchronization circuit.
SOLUTION: One output of a ring oscillator consisting of differential amplifiers 1A-1C is given to a variable threshold level logic circuit 13, and an output of the variable threshold level logic circuit 13 is used for an output of the voltage controlled oscillator circuit. Then a threshold level control input VT of the variable threshold level logic circuit 13 is controlled by an output of a voltage conversion circuit that converts a low frequency component of a filter circuit output of the phase synchronization circuit proportionally.
