To provide a washing-drying machine provided with another drying heat source allowed to be set to a higher temperature besides a heat pump mechanism to obtain efficient drying or sterilizing function.
The washing-drying machine includes a heat pump mechanism 9 as a first drying heat source for generating circulating drying air fed from a circulation fan 8 into a water tub 4, a heater member as a second drying heat source mounted to an inlet 13 formed in a circulation path 7, and an external blowing path 15 selectively communicating with the circulation path 7 on the basis of opening/closing operation of a damper member 18 and including a blowing fan 17. In the washing-drying machine, when the circulating drying air heated by the heater member is fed into the water tub 4, the blowing fan 17 for blowing air in a direction opposite to the circulating air is driven by an output smaller than required for the circulation fan 8.
