To provide a method and device for gasifying combustibles such as wastes and coal, generating the formation gas containing a large quantity of a combustible content capable of melting an ash content by the amount of self-heat and providing melting combustion.
In a device melting an ash content after gasifying wastes, a fluidized bed furnace 2 gasifying the wastes to form gas and char is provided, and a melting furnace 41 introducing the gas and char discharged by the fluidized bed furnace 2 to melt the ash content is provided. The fluidized bed furnace 2 is provided with a tilted furnace bottom and a noncombustible-discharging opening, and the noncombustible-discharging opening is provided at the low part of the tilted furnace bottom. The noncombustible discharged from the noncombustible-discharging opening is separated from a fluid medium, and the separated fluid medium is returned to the fluidized bed furnace 2.
