PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently water distribution and to improve the durability of a control water distribution facility controller by reducing the frequency of control operation as much as possible.
SOLUTION: A water level gauge 12 is installed in a water distribution pool 11 and clear water temporarily stored in a clear water pool is supplied to the water distribution pool 11 by plural water feeding pumps 13. The water level in the water distribution pool 11 converted to an electric signal by the water level gauge 12 and applied to pump number control part 14. Corresponding to the required quantity of water for water distribution areas, clear water is distributed to a piping network 15 of water distribution areas by natural down flow from the water distribution pool 11. In addition to the electric signal from the water level gauge 12, an electric signal form a 1st flow meter 16 for measuring the quantity of water to be supplied by the water feeding pumps 13 and an electric signal form a 2nd flow metal 17 for measuring the quantity of water to be distributed form the water distribution pool 11 are applied to the pump number control part 14. The pump number control part 14 judges the start/stop of water feeding pumps 13 from these electric signals and short-term demand prediction data and controls the water feeding pumps 13 while defining the result as a pump start/stop command.
