To provide a waterproof receptacle capable of supplying a direct-current power source.

The waterproof receptacle A is provided with a case 4 housing inside a receptacle 1 consisting of a base 2 and a cover 3 and equipped with plug connecting parts 40 to which direct-current safety extra-low-voltage power source plugs are connected in free detachment, and equipped with a downward opening part 16 for exposing the plug connecting parts 40 of the receptacle 1, and a waterproof packing 5 interposed between an attachment face of the case 4 and a building material in attaching the case 4 to the building material. Each plug connecting part 40 of the receptacle 1 is provided with a round plug-insertion hole 41 for tips of the plug to be inserted into, a columnar protruded part 42 protruded toward front from a bottom face of the plug-insertion hole 41, terminal insertion holes 43a, 43b opening toward a front face of the protruded part 42 for plug-side terminals to be plug-in connected to, and blade-rest members electrically connected to the plug-side terminals inserted into the protruded part 42 through the terminal insertion holes 43a, 43b.
