Abstract:
To detect a rotation rate with a higher precision by suppressing a back crash of a gear and effects of swinging of a motor.
There are set a feed spool 10 with a writing ribbon 9 wound around, a take-up spool 11 for taking up the writing ribbon 9 from the feed spool 10, the motor 12 for rotating the take-up spool 11, a rotary encoder 17 for detecting the rotation rate of the take-up spool 11, and a gear mechanism (15 and the like) for transmitting the rotation of the take-up spool 11 to the rotary encoder 17. A one-way clutch 16a is prepared between the gear mechanism and the rotary encoder 17, so that only the rotation in considered orientations is transmitted to the rotary encoder.
