Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn splicing device and a yarn splicing method capable of accurately adjusting the length of yarn end taken-in to an untwisting part and to provide a winding unit and a textile machine provided with such a yarn splicing device.SOLUTION: A yarn splicing device includes: a first gripping part 60A which grips one side yarn end YA; a first cutting part which cuts one side yarn end YA; a first untwisting part which takes-in and untwists the cut one side yarn end YA; a first movement part which moves a first gripping position 69A of one side yarn end YA in order to adjust the length of one side yarn end YA taken-in to the first untwisting part; a second gripping part which grips the other side yarn end; a second cutting part which cuts the other side yarn end; a second untwisting part which takes-in and untwists the cut other side yarn end; a second movement part which moves a second gripping position of the other side yarn end in order to adjust the length of the other side yarn end taken-in to the second untwisting part; and a yarn splicing part which twists the untwisted one side yarn end YA with the other side yarn end.
