Abstract:
To provide a laser marking machine which is less likely to emit an unnecessary laser beam.SOLUTION: A laser marking machine 1 comprises a laser, a main body 4 holding the laser, a housing storing the main body 4 therein, a detection mechanism 9, and a lock mechanism 10. The detection mechanism 9 detects that an inclination angle of the main body 4 is equal to or larger than a predetermined angle. The lock mechanism 10 can fix the main body 4 at a predetermined position. The detection mechanism 9 includes a first contact part 33 and a second contact part 45. The first contact part 33 is a conductor to be fixed at a position where a relative position to the housing does not change. The second contact part 45 is a conductor to be electrically connected to the first contact part 33 when the inclination angle of the main body 4 is equal to or larger than the predetermined angle. The lock mechanism 10 electrically connects the first contact part 33 with the second contact part 45 in a state in which the main body 4 is fixed at the predetermined position. The laser does not emit a laser beam in a state in which the first contact part 33 and the second contact part 45 are electrically connected with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
