Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus which can achieve a high airtightness degree and a uniform illumination operation when a color is measured, and which can obtain a high contrast when a shape is measured. SOLUTION: In an illumination apparatus, an object-to-be-measured insertion window 14 which is used to insert an object J to be inspected into an integrating sphere 10 and a first mounting window 13 to which an imaging optical system 16 is attached are installed at opposite faces of the integrating sphere 10, and a second mounting window 15 through which illumination light is incident on the integrating sphere 10 and to which an illumination optical system 12 is attached is installed in a position at right angles to a direction in which the object-to-be-inspected insertion window 14 is faced with the first mounting window 13 in the integrating sphere 10. In this case, the integrating sphere 10 is constituted in such a way that it can be divided into a main split sphere 11 which is provided with the first mounting window 13 and with the second mounting window 15, and into a subsplit sphere 12 which is provided with the object-to-be-inspected insertion window 14. In a state that the the subsplit sphere 12 is removed from the main split sphere 11, a part of the integrating sphere 10 does not creep to the rear of the object J to be inspected as viewed from the imaging optical system 16.
