Abstract:
To provide a medium discharge device and a carriage capable of suppressing the occurrence of disorder in loading a medium taken out from the medium discharge device with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A medium discharge device 30 comprises: a carriage 100 which has a medium loading part 120 with a loading surface 120a on which a medium M is loaded and capable of being switched between a horizontal state and an inclined state, and which is arranged so as to be taken in and out of the medium discharge device; a horizontal holding part 31a which is an example of a switching part for switching the loading surface 120a to the horizontal state when the carriage 100 is taken in and for switching the loading surface 120a to the inclined state when the carriage 100 is taken out; and an unlocking roller 33 (unlocking part) for unlocking the medium loading part when the carriage is taken out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
