Abstract:
To cause moisture to penetrate into sheets easily in adding moisture to the crimping range of the sheets made of a paper material into which moisture penetrates.SOLUTION: A sheet binding device includes a pair of pressurizing teeth for crimping and binding sheets, a water adding member for adding water to a binding position where the sheets are bound by the pressurizing teeth, and a pressurizing teeth support part for supporting the pressurizing teeth. The pressurizing teeth support part crimps the sheets together with the pressurizing teeth, and crimps the area where the pressurizing teeth come in contact with the sheets and the area larger than the range where water is added by the water adding member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
