Abstract:
To provide a steam trap having a safety mechanism which can secure safety by eliminating a clogging state, and block means for use in the safety mechanism of the steam trap.SOLUTION: Drain which is liquified together with steam flows in a valve chest 91 of a steam trap 90 in an arrow direction 101. When a horizontal plane of the drain reaches a release level 85, a float 95 is floated to an arrow direction 105, opens a drain discharge port 97, and discharge the drain. In this situation, the drain sometimes becomes blocked due to the adhesion or the like of foreign matters to the drain discharge port 97. In this case, the horizontal plane of the drain reaches a hole-blocking bolt 4, and an electrically corroded piece blocking a through-hole in the hole-blocking bolt 4 is eluted and eliminated by electric correction. In such a way, the through-hole of the hole-blocking bolt 4 is opened, and the drain is discharged from the through-hole to an upper discharge path 88, and thus, the clogged state of the drain is eliminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
