Abstract:
Provided is packaging in which an absorbent article is individually packaged with a packaging material, wherein a pocket is provided in the packaging material in a process of taking out the absorbent article, and the absorbent article can be disposed of in a hygienic manner. Absorbent article packaging (101) includes an absorbent article (1) including a main body adhesion part (6), and a packaging material (70). An outer edge in a front-back direction of the packaging material includes a packaging outer edge (71) disposed on an outer surface of the packaging in a packaged state, and a packaging inner edge (72) positioned inside the packaging in the packaged state. The packaging includes a side joining part (60). The side joining part includes a first side joining part (61) that joins the packaging materials together in a first folded state of being folded along a first fold (F1), and a second side joining part (62) joining the packaging materials together in a second folded state of being folded along a second fold. The packaging material forms a pocket (P) sandwiched by a pair of the first side joining parts in the first folded state. A peeling strength of the first side joining part is greater than a peeling strength of the second side joining part when expanding from the second folded state to the first folded state.
