Abstract:
This acrylic rubber is a copolymer provided by the copolymerization, as a crosslinkable comonomer, of 1-3 wt% in the copolymer of a monoalkyl fumarate ester monomer having a C1-8 alkyl group, and the copolymerization of n-butyl acrylate, 2-methoxyethyl acrylate, and ethoxyethoxyethyl acrylate in proportions, respectively, of 45-65 wt%, 12-32 wt%, and 11-30 wt%, in 100 wt% for the comonomer other than the crosslinkable comonomer. This acrylic rubber is capable of resisting reductions in oil resistance while providing an improved cold resistance as indicated by the TR-10 value.
