Abstract:
An air conditioner to be installed on a ceiling or in the upper section of a lateral wall of a room, the air conditioner being equipped with a housing and a fan (33). Given that the height of the housing is h[mm] and the horizontal width of the housing is W[mm], then the relationship W≥4×h is satisfied. The fan (33) includes a first fan part (33A) and a second fan part (33B) arranged in parallel with one another in the horizontal direction. The first fan part (33A) has a drive motor (34A) and a first ventilating fan unit, while the second fan part (33B) has a drive motor (34B) and a second ventilating fan unit. Consequently, it is possible to effectively suppress vibrations and noise by stably rotating the fan.
