Abstract:
An antenna unit (2) is provided with: variable directivity antennas (11, 12, 13) each of which has a power feed antenna element and two passive antenna elements; and metal blocks (21, 22, 23). At least one of the metal blocks is provided on each power feed antenna element at a predetermined distance, and the metal block operates as a reflector for the power feed antenna element. Each of the passive antenna elements is provided with a switch circuit so as to switch the electrical length of the passive antenna element, and by switching the electrical length by the switch circuit, the passive antenna element operates as the reflector for the power feed antenna element included in the same variable directivity antenna wherein the passive antenna element is included.
