Abstract:

Provided is an array substrate capable of easily correcting a defect such as a short circuit between a wiring branch portion of auxiliary capacitance wiring and a pixel electrode, if one occurs. The array substrate comprises the pixel electrode connected to a switching element provided in the vicinity of the crossing between scan wiring and signal wiring and the auxiliary capacitance wiring arranged in the lower layer of the pixel electrode. The auxiliary capacitance wiring has a wiring trunk portion extending substantially in parallel to the scan wiring and the wiring branch portions extended from the wiring trunk portion and the pixel electrode has an opening portion across the wiring branch portions of the auxiliary capacitance wiring.
