Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an automatic phase-locked constant-current source circuit and method for driving a tunable laser. The circuit comprises a phase lag circuit, a phase-locked loop, a summator and a voltage-controlled constant-current source, which are connected in sequence, wherein an output end of the voltage-controlled constant-current source is connected to a high-pass filter; the high-pass filter is connected to the phase-locked loop; an input voltage is input into the phase lag circuit; the phase lag circuit can perform phase lagging on the input voltage and input same into the phase-locked loop; the phase-locked loop multiplies a phase lag voltage by a feedback voltage to obtain a superposed voltage, and filters and oscillates the superposed voltage and then inputs same into the summator; the summator adds an oscillating voltage and a direct-current bias voltage together, and inputs same into the voltage-controlled constant-current source; and an output voltage of the voltage-controlled constant-current source enters the high-pass filter for high-pass filtering, and then the feedback voltage is input into the phase-locked loop. Therefore, an output current automatically locks an input voltage, and it is ensured that the output current of a voltage-controlled constant-current source has the same frequency and phase as the input voltage, thus eliminating a phase difference of the output current lagging behind the input voltage.
