Abstract:
This automobile door latch apparatus is configured to be provided with a release motor, a locking/unlocking motor, and a locking/unlocking mechanism, and uses a common operation mechanism. The operation mechanism is provided with a locking/unlocking motor 14, a locking/unlocking mechanism 16, 18 which is configured by a mechanical element capable of switching between an unlocked state and a locked state by being rotated by the locking/unlocking motor 14, a release motor 22 which is arranged below the locking/unlocking motor 14, an electric release lever 24 which, when driven by the release motor 22, releases an open lever 7 regardless of the state of the locking/unlocking mechanism, and an inside lever 19 which is pivotally supported coaxially with a first shaft 102 for pivotally supporting the electric release lever 24 on the housing, is rotated by a door opening operation of an inside mechanical operation element, and releases the open lever 7 when the locking/unlocking mechanism is in the unlocked state.
