Abstract:
Provided by the present application are a backlight module and a display device, the backlight module comprising a light-emitting unit array having two or more light-emitting units, two or more light-homogenizing elements and a light-shielding rack. Each light-emitting unit comprises at least one light-emitting element; the multiple light-homogenizing elements correspond to the light-emitting units one by one in terms of position; each light-homogenizing element comprises a light incident surface and a light emergent plane opposite each other and a scattering functional layer, the scattering functional layer being disposed in at least one of the light incident surface and the light emergent surface; the light-shielding rack comprises multiple light-shielding units; and at least one light-shielding unit is arranged between two adjacent light-emitting units. By means of disposing the scattering functional layer in the at least one among the light incident surface and the light emergent surface of the light-homogenizing elements, the backlight module provided by the present application can increase the light-homogenizing function of the light-homogenizing elements, which helps to evenly distribute the brightness of light spots of light beams passing through the light-homogenizing elements. The provision of the light-shielding unit between the adjacent light-emitting units can prevent the crosstalk of light rays between the adjacent light-emitting units, thus effectively improving the contrast of the display device.
