Abstract:
A photovoltaic power generation system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an energy storage system (ESS) that is in communicative connection and can be controlled thereby, at least one distributed energy resources (DER) selectively connected thereto, and a backup device that controls power to be supplied to a connected load and be backed up, wherein the backup device comprises a main relay, a load relay, and a processor that controls each of the main relay and the load relay to be turned on or off, on the basis of whether a power grid is associated, the amount of energy that can be outputted by the energy storage system, and the state of charge of the energy storage system, and controls power to be supplied to the load from at least one of the distributed energy resources, the energy storage system, and the power grid, depending on the operating states of the main relay and the load relay.
