Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a bandwidth configuration method and a related device, which are applied to the technical field of communications. An electronic device first determines a bandwidth configuration solution for N AP groups, and then adjusts the bandwidth configuration solution for the AP groups according to the similarity between physical topologies of the AP groups. When the physical topologies of two AP groups are similar, if the bandwidths of two APs at corresponding physical positions in the two AP groups are different, then the electronic device determines the maximum value of the bandwidths of the two APs to be the bandwidth of the two APs (which is referred to as the principle of maximum bandwidth). The physical topology of an AP group has the characteristic of being stable and not prone to changing; therefore, in the present application, a bandwidth configuration solution for AP groups is adjusted on the basis of the similarity between the physical topologies of the AP groups, such that the stability of a bandwidth configuration result for the AP groups can be effectively ensured. Bandwidth configuration adjustment is performed on the AP groups according to the principle of maximum bandwidth, thereby facilitating the expansion of the network capacity of a wireless network, and improving the network experience of a user.
