Abstract:
A bathtub apparatus 1 is equipped with a bathtub body 11 for holding hot water, and a water discharge device 3 provided above a flange part 11a, which is the upper-end edge of the bathtub body 11. The water discharge device 3 discharges hot water toward the shoulders of a user (bather) who is soaking in the hot water and seated inside the bathtub body 11. The maximum depth of the hot water which can be held in the bathtub body 11 at the sitting position is 400mm or less.
