Abstract:
This bearing monitoring device has: an outer ring; an inner ring arranged coaxially with the outer ring on the inner peripheral side of the outer ring; a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the outer ring and the inner ring; and a strain gauge that detects a strain on the outer ring or the inner ring, the strain gauge comprising at least two resistors, the resistors each having: a rolling bearing including two resistors arranged in the same direction as the arrangement direction of the rolling element according to the interval between the adjacent rolling elements; a waveform generator that generates a first strain waveform on the basis of the output of one of the resistors and generates a second strain waveform on the basis of the output of the other resistor; a subtraction unit that subtracts the second strain waveform from the first strain waveform and generates a difference waveform; and a comparison unit that compares the difference waveform with a reference value and detects the wear state of the rolling bearing.
