Abstract:
The present invention provides: a bipyridine compound that exhibits an excellent control effect against noxious arthropods and is represented by formula (I) [In the formula, R1 represents a C2-C10 haloalkyl group etc., R2 represents a C1-C6 alkyl group etc. that may have one or more halogen atoms, R3 represents a C1-C6 chain hydrocarbon group etc., R6 represents a C1-C6 alkyl group etc. that may have one or more halogen atoms, n represents 0, 1, or 2, and p and q each independently represent 0, 1, 2, or 3.]; an N-oxide compound of said bipyridine compound; and a composition that contains said compound.
