Abstract:

A can body printing system having: a measurement part 34 for measuring, in predetermined units, the quantity of can bodies to which printing is applied; a quantity detection part 304 for detecting, for each of said units, that the quantity measured for each of said units reaches the quantity predetermined as the quantity of can bodies to which printing can be applied; and a printing stop part 305 for controlling the stoppage of printing onto the can bodies when such a detection is made.
