Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve both nucleic acid trapping efficiency and cell trapping efficiency in a single cell analyzer. The present invention pertains to a single cell analysis device provided with a two-dimensional array chip, said two-dimensional array chip comprising a plurality of cell trapping parts capable of trapping individual cells and nucleic acid trapping parts disposed corresponding to the respective cell trapping parts and trapping nucleic acids extracted from the cells trapped by the cell trapping parts. The device according to the present invention is characterized in that: a solution-holding part is further provided adjacent to the nucleic acid trapping parts of the two-dimensional array chip; the solution-holding part comprises a three-dimensional porous body that is capable of absorbing, by capillary phenomenon, a solution retained in the nucleic acid trapping parts and discharging the thus absorbed solution to the outside by applying negative pressure; and the solution-holding part is adjacent to a flow channel and configured so that, by applying negative pressure to one end of the flow channel, negative pressure can be applied to the solution-holding part, the nucleic acid trapping parts and the cell trapping parts.
