Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique by which it is possible to perform suitable cell balance through simple controls. This cell balance device comprises: a plurality of discharge circuits that can discharge a plurality of battery cells, respectively; and a control unit that controls the plurality of discharge circuits. At least one of the plurality of discharge circuits is a first discharge circuit including: a discharge resistor into which a PTC thermistor is inserted; and a switch that switches the discharge resistor between a conductive state and a non-conductive state. The control unit switches the switch on the basis of the voltage states of the plurality of battery cells.
