Abstract:
This centering tool comprises: a shank having a mounting shaft; a rotation member that is rotatably supported by the shank and has a pair of contacts disposed spaced apart from each other in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the shank; and a displacement sensor that is provided integrally with the shank to detect, at the central position between the pair of contacts, displacement in the direction orthogonal to the axis of the shank. A circular workpiece disposed on a turntable is centered by pushing the circular workpiece towards the center of rotation of the turntable while abutting each of the pair of contacts against a circumferential surface of the circular workpiece.
