Provided in the present invention are a chain wheel of a racing motorcycle and a manufacturing method therefor. The chain wheel of a racing motorcycle comprises a chain wheel disc body, wherein an axle hole and wheel teeth are formed on the chain wheel disc body, and a plurality of first weight-lightening holes and a plurality of second weight-lightening holes are formed on the chain wheel disc body; an anti-friction coating is deposited on all the surfaces of the chain wheel disc body by means of a physical vapor deposition method, and the anti-friction coating sequentially comprises a Cr layer, an AlCrN layer and an Al-DLC layer from inside to outside, the Cr layer having a thickness of 0.4-0.5 μm, the AlCrN layer having a thickness of 0.6-0.7 μm, and the Al-DLC layer having a thickness of 1.1-1.4 μm; and carbon fiber patches are attached to both disc faces of the chain wheel disc body, the two disc faces of the chain wheel disc body both sink to form sunken tables used for mounting the carbon fiber patches, and the carbon fiber patches are fixedly embedded in the sunken tables. The present invention provides a chain wheel for racing motorcycles that has good comprehensive properties, and the chain wheel has a low friction coefficient and good wear resistance.
