Abstract:
The invention produces a coating film having excellent properties. The coating film production method comprises: a (a) step of coating a coating solution 20a on a first surface of a base material 1 unwound from an unwinding unit UW; a (b) step of drying the coating solution (coated film 3a) on the base material 1, thereby forming a coating layer 3b on the first surface of the base material 1; and a (c) step of winding in a winding unit WD the base material 1 having the coating layer 3b formed thereon. The base material 1 is disposed in a continuous manner from the unwinding unit UW to the winding unit WD, extracted from the unwinding unit UW, then, prior to the (b) step, is tension-cut by a first suction roll SR, and before the (c) step, the base material 1 having the coating layer 3b formed thereon is tension-cut by a second suction roll SR.
