Abstract:
In a prepress process of printing, in color matching that matches a color presented from a color sample of an orderer with a color of a printed result, the color presented by the orderer through the color sample is measured by means of a colorimeter and the measured color is digitized as colorimetric data, each color saddened to a color chart printed by a printer of an order receiver is also measured by means of the colorimeter in advance and the measured color is digitized as colorimetric data, a color similar to the presented color is searched by comparing the digits, and rapid and accurate color matching is enabled by allowing the orderer to make a selection.
