Abstract:
Provided are a communication device, a communication system, a communication method, and a communication program for suppressing a characteristic difference in reception characteristics between orthogonal amplitude modulated signals, and optimizing transmission signal capacity. A communication device (1) of the present disclosure is provided with a transmission unit (2) capable of transmitting a plurality of types of orthogonal amplitude modulated signals, and an adding unit (3) for adding an error correction code to the orthogonal amplitude modulated signals. The communication device (1) is further provided with a control unit (4) for varying the number of bits of the error correction code in accordance with the type of the orthogonal amplitude modulated signals.
