Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method, an apparatus, and a system. Said method comprises: a policy control network element receiving first information from a terminal device, the first information being the identifier of a prohibited application, or a prohibited policy section identifier (PSI), or the identifier of a prohibited UE route selection policy (URSP), or the identifier of an allowed application; the policy control network element acquiring, from a data storage network element, a first URSP of the terminal device; and the policy control network element determining, according to the first information and the first URSP, a second URSP of the terminal device. On the basis of the present solution, when deciding a URSP of a terminal device, a policy control network element considers first information reported by the terminal device, so that an appropriate URSP can be determined for the terminal device, and signaling overheads caused by continuous updating of the terminal device and the policy control network element side and by the maintenance of the URSP that the terminal device does not need to use.
