Abstract:

The present invention relates to a companion animal radiation therapy device and method using a kilovoltage X-ray, and more specifically, to a companion animal radiation therapy device and a method for treating companion animal cancers using same, the companion animal radiation therapy device comprising: a radiation irradiation surface intensity control means comprising a collimator and a multi-leaf collimator (MLC) or a compensator; and a radiation irradiation means for generating a kilovoltage X-ray. According to the present invention, economical and effective companion animal radiation therapy may be possible.
