Abstract:
This condition-estimating device is provided with: a first means that updates parameters Pm[i] and internal conditions Qn[i] contained in a voltage estimation model for a solid polymer fuel cell; a second means that successively acquires current I[i] and measured-voltage values Vmes [i]; a third means that utilizes the voltage estimation model containing the updated Pm[i] and Qn[i] to compute estimated voltage values Vest[i]; and a fourth means that in order to lessen |Vmes[i] − Vest[i]|, calibrates a calibration coefficient CF[i] utilized in updating the Pm[i] and/or Qn[i]. This fault-determining device is provided with a fault-determining means that utilizes the Vest[i], Pm_est[i], and/or Qn_est[i] to carry out fault determination on the solid polymer fuel cell. This condition-estimating/fault-determining device comprises such condition-estimating device and fault-determining device.
