Abstract:

Provided is a content distribution system (100) comprising a playback device (10) and a content distribution device (20). The content distribution device (20) comprises: a second communication unit (21) which receives a request for first content data from the playback device (10); and a distribution control unit (22) which, if gapless playback instruction information is included in the received request for the first content data, causes the second communication unit (21) to transmit the first content data and second content data which has been defined in the playback order as being immediately subsequent to the first content data.
