Abstract:
This control device controls an inverter for AC-driving a motor that rotates using a magnet torque and a reluctance torque. When estimating the mechanical angular speed and position of the rotor of the motor on the basis of the values of d-axis current and q-axis current flowing through the motor and the number of pole pairs of the motor, the control device removes harmonic components of 6n-th order (where, n includes 1, 2, and 0 or more natural numbers of 3 or more) from the values of d-axis current and q-axis current or the estimated angular speed of the rotor to estimate the mechanical angular speed and the position and controls the inverter using the estimated mechanical angular speed and position, said harmonic components at least including the 6-th order and 12-th order of a value obtained by multiplying the mechanical angular speed by the number of pole pairs.
