Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a control system which includes a server and a control device connected to an electricity storage device capable of supplying electric power to one or more electrical appliances, and with which it is possible to achieve simultaneously both a reduction in a communication load and appropriate control of charging and discharging. Upon acquiring meteorological information from a server (200) (S2), a control device (100) connected to an electricity storage device capable of supplying electric power to an electrical appliance controls charging of the electricity storage device and the supply of electric power from the electricity storage device to the electrical appliance on the basis of the meteorological information (S3). Further, on the basis of the acquired meteorological information, the control device determines a period from the time at which the meteorological information was acquired until a time at which the next set of meteorological information is to be acquired (S4). Then, at a second time at which said period has elapsed since a first time at which the meteorological information was acquired, the control device repeats the operations from acquiring the meteorological information to determining the period after which the next set of meteorological information is to be acquired from the server (S20).
