Abstract:
A crop harvesting system (1) comprises: a moving device (10) that is configured so as to be capable of moving inside a harvesting work area (901), which is an area where harvesting work is performed; a harvesting device (20) that is mounted on the moving device and comes into contact with a crop (T), which is an object to be harvested, to harvest the object to be harvested; a disinfection device (40) having a function for disinfecting at least a section for disinfection (221), which is a section of the harvesting device that comes into contact with the object to be harvested; a disinfection necessity determination processing unit (54) that is capable of executing a disinfection necessity determination process for determining the necessity of disinfecting the section for disinfection; and a disinfection operation processing unit (55) that is capable of executing a disinfection operation for disinfecting the section for disinfection by driving at least one of the harvesting device and the disinfection device if the disinfection necessity determination process determines that disinfection is necessary.
