Title:
CYCLIC ERYTHRITOL PHOSPHORIC ACID DERIVATIVE AND ASYMMETRIC SYNTHESIS METHOD USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/092884
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention provides a novel cyclic phosphoric acid compound and an asymmetric synthesis method using the cyclic phosphoric acid compound as a catalyst. This invention is based on finding that a novel cyclic phosphoric acid compound represented by formula (1) can be prepared from tartaric acid and that the cyclic phosphoric acid compound can be used as a catalyst for asymmetric synthesis. (1) wherein R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an aryl group; and R3, R4, R5, and R6 each independently represent an optionally substituted aryl group.
