Abstract:
Provided are a device or a method for generating, on the basis on at least the positions of objects at a given point in time, data indicating a characteristic of a situation in which the objects are involved, and estimating the situation on the basis of the data. The data processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a situation data generation unit and an estimation unit. The situation data generation unit generates situation data on the basis of a first vector. The first vector is generated on the basis of position data indicating the positions of a plurality of objects and characteristic data indicating a respective characteristic of each of the plurality of objects. The estimation unit performs an estimation relating to the situation on the basis of the situation data.
