Abstract:
Disclosed are: a device for notifying of an abnormal state of a companion animal, which immediately notifies a companion animal owner at a remote place of an abnormal state of a companion animal left home alone by detecting the abnormal state; and a companion animal care system having the same. The disclosed device for notifying of an abnormal state of a companion animal comprises: a sound sensor for sensing the cry of the companion animal so as to generate a companion animal sound signal; a determination unit for determining whether the companion animal is in the abnormal state on the basis of the companion animal sound signal generated by the sound sensor; a camera for photographing the companion animal so as to generate a companion animal image signal, when the determination unit determines that the companion animal is in the abnormal state; a wireless communication unit for transmitting the companion animal sound signal and the companion animal image signal to a mobile communication device of the companion animal owner by using wireless communication, and receiving the sound signal transmitted from the mobile communication device; and a speaker for converting the sound signal received by the wireless communication unit into sound and outputting the converted sound.
